Supervised Independent Living (SIL)

SIL focuses on offering residential and non-residential services to higher risk men within the community with developmental disabilities, mental health issues or with other special needs.

St. Leonard's Community Services London Region (SLCS) works with individuals to address behaviours related to becoming involved in the criminal justice system. Short and long term measurable goals are assigned to address re-offending and personal needs through:

  • One-to-one counseling focusing on relapse prevention and living skills
  • Community participation (encouraging a positive support network)
  • Accessing community activities within the relapse prevention goals
  • Educational/vocational training
  • Medical/psychological and/or social work treatment

Individuals 18 years of age and older, considered to have a developmental disability, mental health issue or other special needs are encouraged to become part of our SIL Program.

For more information about the SIL Program, please call 519-850-3777 ext.236.
