Choices
The Choices program provides eight sessions focusing on thinking skills training as an early intervention tool designed to teach youth reasoning and decision making skills.
Sessions examine the importance of the participants personal value systems and how influential this is to decision-making, communication, victim awareness and empathy.
Youth are encouraged to take responsibility for their actions and the positive or negative consequences they create.

- Understanding when there is a problem
- Being able to correctly identify what the problem is
- Focusing on all aspects of positive decision making
Communication /Listening Skills
- Social skill building in recognizing the importance of verbal and non-verbal communication when resolving issues and problem solving
- How to embrace listening is emphasized
Personal Needs
- Recognizing needs versus wants
- Learning to be open-minded and develop assertive skills
Emotion Management
- Understanding the ABC's of emotion and the role in more successful management of personal and interpersonal conflict
